Two new cucurbit[6]uril (CB[6])-based metal-organic rotaxane networks (MORNs) were successfully obtained by tuning the coordination sphere of metal copper clusters. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited relatively high proton conductivity at 85 degrees C and 97% relative humidity (RH), providing great promise for fuel cell electrolyte materials.
