Formosa and CPC offer gasoline and blendstocks on spot market

As the Asian gasoline complex improves,the Taiwanese refiners will offer spot tenders for gasoline and blending components for Nov.On Oct.5,CPC Corp.offered a spot tender for 9K mt(76.5MM bbl) of 95 RON FCC gasoline,which was priced at a 30-40/bbl premium to FOB Mean of Platts Singapore 95 RON.Privately-owned Formosa Petrochemical was reported on Oct.6 to be offer a 250K-bbl cargo of 50 ppm-sulfur,92 RON gasoline and a 9K-mt cargo of 95 RON alkylate via spot tender.CPC's cargo will load over HI Nov.from Kaohsiung while Formosa Petrochemical will load its gasoline during Nov.3-15 and its alkylate cargo during Nov.7-11.Formosa Petrochemical last offered a spot tender in July after a fire hit its 540K-b/d Mailiao refinery complex on July 15,which impacted the plant's No.2 80K-b/d residue desulfurization(RDS) unit and FCC unit.The No.2 RDS will restart in April 2021 at earliest.
