Outlook in March: Whether Overseas Weak Tone Spread to Domestic Mkt

It is expected that the main focus of the domestic market in March would be likely to be whether the weak tonein the overseas market would spread to the domestic market or not. Concerning domestic market, although the upwardtrend in the Kanto market was slowing down, there is still bullish sentiment in the Kansai and Chubu area based on thehigh-leveled production plan. As a result of that, there was a gap of sentiment between East and West. In addition to this,the market sentiment slightly varied between south and north area in the Kanto market, as north Kanto market kept firmertone, compared to Tokyo Bay area, where was pointed out that the market peaked out. It is difficult to forecast outlook ofthe total domestic market by the gap of sentiment depending on area.
