Midrex Technologies Working on 100% Hydrogen-based DRI 'MIDREX H2'

Midrex Technologies, Inc. ("Midrex"), a US subsidiary of Japan's Kobe Steel and a world's leading firm in direct reduction iron (DRI) -making technology, is currently working to develop "MIDREX H2" to support the decarbonization of the global steel industry and cleaner steelmaking solutions. This new technology helps to decrease CO2 emissions by using hydrogen as a fuel and chemical reactant in the process.
