EMA'S AMSTERDAM HOME 'NOT THE OPTIMAL SOLUTION'

Plans for a temporary building for the European Medicines Agency (EMA) after it moves to Amsterdam have been shelved after it was concluded that the intended building was not "fully fit for purpose," EMA executive director, Guido Rasi, has said. "On 1 January 2019, we need a fully operational building to move our staff to Amsterdam before March 2019. These temporary premises are not ideal, but they are the best option under the time restrictions," Rasi said.
