I appreciate and fully support the recent publication "An open letter for the people in Gaza".1The siege on Gaza, the previous Gaza wars, and the present war have directly and indirectly caused death and disability and affected all sectors of society, including the health system. Wars cannot solve the root cause of the conflict-namely the occupation.
