The Governments of Mozambique and Malawi have this time made an agreement to expand and modernizeNacala Corridor in Mozambique on a conjoint basis. Accordingly, both countries will develop the respective industries inthe Nacala Corridor area such as traffic, agriculture and mining by spending US$2.5 billion.In the Nacala Corridor, Vale S.A., Brazil which runs Moatize coal mine in the Tete Province has been predominantlydriving Nacala Corridor Rail & Port Project up until now.
