GEAR’s Coal Production and Sales Go up in Former Half

The coal production and sales by Golden Energy and Resources Limited (GEAR), a major mining company Indonesia went up drastically in the former half (January – June) of 2020. In fact, the coal production volume in the former half reached 16.5 million tons, up by 3.9 million tons (31.0%) from the year-earlier period. At the beginning of the year, GEAG set the goal for its coal production volume in 2020 at 31 million tons. In view of this, GEAR produced roughly 53% of the targeted production volume in 2020 in the former half. Besides, the coal sales volume in the former half was 16.7 million tons, up by 4.1 million tons (32.3%) from the year-earlier period.
