Banpu Public Company Set Sales Target of Coal for 2020

Thailand’s major energy company, Banpu Public Company Limited (Banpu Public Company) recently revealed that it set the sales target of coal for 2020 at 41.70 million tons (excluding Chinese coal). The amount of coal sold in 2019 was 36 million tons. So, additional 5.7 million tons of sales are expected, compared with the sales amount of a year earlier. In the breakdown by countries, the sales amount of Indonesian coal is 25.5 million tons, up by 200,000 tons from a year earlier and that of Australian coal is 16.2 million tons, up by 5.5 million tons.
