TDI, polyol imports to attract anti-dumping duty

India may impose anti-dumping duty on imports of toluene diisocyanate (TDI), a chemical used in foam making, from China, Japan and Korea to guard domestic players against cheap imports, and on flexible slabstock polyol imports from Thailand. Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. (GNFC) had filed the application before the Directorate General of Anti-dumping and Allied Duties (DGAAD) for initiation of antidumping investigations on imports of TDI.
