China’s august crude runs rise on strong margins

Singapore-China’s refinery throughput rose 6.5% year on year with both state-owned and independent refineries raising run rates in the month on the back of strong refining margins. Chinese refiners processed, 47.1 million mt in August, or an average of 11.14 million b/d, of crude oil in August, preliminary data released Thursday by the National Bureau of Statistics showed.
