Houston-An agreement between Mexico’s Pemex and US-based SSA Marine could further advance the Mexican state company’s ability to import gasoline and distillates. Pemex has signed a memorandum of understanding with SSA’s Mexican unit to evaluate further developing oil infrastructure at the port of Tuxpan, Pemex said last week. The companies will analyze a project under which SSA Mexico would make berthing adjustments to set up an oil products terminal for Pemex’s use, Pemex said in a statement.
