China state-owned refiners raise run rate to 83%

Singapore -China’s state-owned oil refiners Sinopec, PetroChina and China National Offshore Oil Corporation plan to operate their plants at an average 83% of nameplate capacity in January, up from around 82% in December, a S&P Global Platts monthly survey showed. The run rate is also about five percentage points higher compared with a year earlier, the survey showed.
