Norway’s oseberg oil, gas output fully shut down on ‘unplanned event’

London-Norway’s state-controlled Equinor has fully shut down oil and gas production from the Oseberg complex in the North Sea for unplanned maintenance expected to last around a week. Equinor confirmed the full shutdown in an email. Pipeline operator Gassco said on its website the shutdown had begun May 8 for what it described as “corrective maintenance” that would last eight days.
