A ccelerator development at the Nuclear Science Centre

The Nuclear Science Centre has embarked upon a plan of augmenting the accelerator facility by constructing a superconducting Linac booster based on niobium cavity ravity resonators. The plan has been evolved to fulfil major requirements of the user community to continue internationally competitive research in some focused areas. Most of the necessary technical developments connected with fabrication of different subsystems have been completed. Emphasis has been laid on technology development and indigenous fabrication as for as possible and on human resource development.
