Nigerian Seplat’s oil output up 43% after forcados restart

Lagos-Nigerian producer Seplat Petroleum said Wednesday its net oil production increased by 43% year on year to 36,923 b/d in 2017, bol- stered by the restart of exports from the Forca- dos terminal. In a statement on its operations during the 2017 financial year, Seplat said it expects the 160,000 b/d Amukpe to Escravos pipeline to be operational in Q3 2018 to provide a third alternative export route for crude from the company’s three oil blocks - OMLs 4, 38 and 41 - to further boost production.
