Singapore—Crude and bitumen blend imports for China’s independent refineries fell to a six-month low in October and could be pressured again in November as private-sector refiners have almost exhausted their import quotas for the year. The independent refining sector’s October crude imports were down 4.5% from September at 17.317 million mt, or 4.09 million b/d, information collected by S&P Global Platts showed Nov. 4.
