摘要

Karachi, Pakistan—Pakistan’s Ministry of Energy has asked the country’s oil marketing companies to cancel planned imports of gasoline from April onwards and refineries to cancel crude oil imports due to a fall in consumption triggered by a coronavirus lockdown. The “consumption of motor gasoline has dropped significantly due to the enforcement of lockdowns by provincial governments to control the spread of COVID-19,” a letter released Thursday night from the Directorate General of Oil of the energy ministry’s petroleum division said.
