New York—As Chinese refiners slowly ramp up runs toward pre- coronavirus levels, crude producers are angling for market share amid a shrinking demand scenario, an analysis from S&P Global Platts showed Monday. Crude production cuts agreed upon over the weekend by OPEC and its allies are expected to take 9.7 million b/d of crude off a market where demand has fallen drastically and supplies continue to build.
