Sherritt’s nickel moa JV surpasses Fy19 guidance

London—Canadian miner Sherritt Interna- tional’s 2019 nickel production at its Moa JV rose 7.8% on the year to 33,108 mt, surpass- ing the high-end of its guidance of 31,000- 33,000 mt, the company said Wednesday. The Toronto-listed company said 2019 cobalt production rose 4.4% on the year to 3,376 mt, just above the lower end of its guidance of 3,300-3,600 mt.
