Alphamin Resources Q2 DRC tin output up 29% to quarterly record

Mauritius-registered Alphamin Resources’ second-quarter 2020 tin production from its Bisie mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo increased 29% quarter on quarter to a quarterly record of 2,739 mt due to better-than-expected tin feed grades, the company said Aug. 11. The Toronto-listed company said the allin sustaining cost per metric ton of payable tin sold decreased 13% quarter on quarter to $10,849/mt, mainly due to increased tin production.
