COMEX copper jumps 6 cents on equities rebound, supply concerns

COMEX copper futures jumped nearly 6 cents higher in July 10 trading, as the metal continued to be lifted by strengthening supply-side fundamentals, robust equities, and weakness in the US dollar. Copper for September delivery, the active month, rallies 5.90 cents to close at 289.75 cents/lb, while the July spot month also rose 5.90 cents to 288.70 cents.
