First Cobalt makes 49% upgrade to Idaho project resource

Pittsburgh—First Cobalt converted 49% of the mineral resource at its Iron Creek project in Idaho from the inferred category to the indicated category in an updated estimate as a result of a 2019 infill drill program, the company said Wednesday. The new mineral resource estimate suggests an indicated resource of 2.2 million mt at 0.32% cobalt equivalent and an inferred resource of 2.7 million mt at 0.28% cobalt equivalent at Iron Creek, according to the company.
