Russia’s MidUral upgrading chrome facilities with Turkey’s Yildrim

London—Russian vertically-integrated chemical and metallurgical group MidUral, together with its Turkish partner Yildirim, has started to design a site that will produce double degassing chromium, an official said Tuesday. MidUral said it has broken ground on the new facility, which will produce chromium oxide using environmentally friendly technology at its Klyuchevsky Ferroalloy Plant, in the Sverdlovsk region in the Urals. It will replace dated facilities.
