Hudbay to appeal US court ruling against Rosemont copper mine

New York—Canadian mining group Hudbay Minerals will appeal a decision by a federal court in Tuscon, Arizona, overturning the US Forest Service’s 2017 approval of its Rosemont copper mine and its 2013 environmental impact statement, the company said Thursday.
