Ineos Signs Agreement with SP of China To Deliver U.S. Ethane from Shale Gas

Taixing- Ineos has entered into a long-term supply agreement with Chinese chemical company SP Chemicals to deliver ethane from U.S. shale gas to SP's new gas cracker facility, currently being built in Taixing, China. The agreement includes construction of a Very Large Ethane Carrier with 95,000 cu m of capacity, which will be the "largest" ethane carrier in the world, Ineos noted. The ship will be built in China under the management of the Jaccar Group and will be operated by Evergas.
