Calgary— Pembina Pipeline and Veresen have closed the previously announced business combinationin a transaction valued at approximately $9.4-billion (PCN, 8 May 2017, p 2). Pembina acquired all issued and outstanding shares of Veresen by way of a plan of arrangement. The transaction included the assumption of Veresen's debt and preferred shares.
