Olin Lifts Freeport Force Majeure For Several Product Shipments

Houston—Olin Corp. said it is lifting the force majeure declared for all product shipments, except phenol, acetone, methyl chloride, methylene chloride and chloroform, from its Freeport, Texas, facility (PCN, 4 Sept 2017, p 2). The company declared force majeure oh 31 Aug. 2017, as it was forced to reduce production at the plant due to supply and logistic constraints caused by severe flooding from Hurricane Harvey.
