Cabot Announces Two Projects to Grow Global Specialty Compounds Business

Boston-Cabot Corp. said it has completed two expansion projects that will extend its global footprint in black masterbatch and compounds and increase manufacturing capacity to better serve global customers, as well as grow in advanced polymeric materials. The first project involved the recent acquisition of North American black masterbatches producer Tech Blend. The new business will now operate as Cabot Plastics Canada, within Cabot's global specialty compounds business.
