KNOC,SK Gas and MOLCT Ink Agreement To Establish New Korean Chem Terminal

Ulsan-Korea National Oil Corp.(KNOC),SK Gas Co.and MOL Chemical Tankers Pte.Ltd.(MOLCT) have signed an agreement to develop a new chemical terminal in the Port of Ulsan,South Korea.The $526-million project,which will have a tank capacity of around 434,000 cu m,is scheduled to begin operations in June 2024.”South Korea,located near China,which has the largest chemical consumption in the world,is expected to increase its trading volume of liquid chemicals further,and Ulsan is already the industry's major center in the country,handling a wide variety of chemicals,”noted MOLCT.
