Lotte, Westlake to Hold Opening Ceremony For Louisiana Ethane Cracker, EG Unit

Westlake-Lotte Chemical USA and Westlake Chemical are hosting an official opening celebration for their joint venture ethane cracker complex and Lotte's new ethylene glycol (EG) plant in Lake Charles, La. (PCN, 17-24 Apr 2017, p 2). The 1-million-t/y ethane cracker complex is in the initial stages of starting up, while the 700,000-t/y EG plant successfully started up this past January.
