Enzo Terreno was born in 1965. He was graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (1991) and Pharmacy (1993) at the University of Torino. He is currently Associate Professor of General and Inorganic Chemistry and faculty member of the Department of Molecular Biotechnology and Health Sciences of the University of Torino. During his carrier, he was scientific consultant for Bracco Imaging S.p.A. and for the Interuniversity Research Consortium for the Metal Chemistry in Biological Systems. Since 2010 he is the responsible of the Center for Preclinical Imaging of the University of Torino. He has actively participated to many FP6 and FP7 European projects, and it is now WP leader within the Collaborative FP7-EU project INMiND (Imaging Neuroinflammation in Neurodegenerative Diseases), and in the IRSES FP7-EU project DINaMIT (Dual-Imaging Nano/Micro-sized Theranostics (against cancer)). He is coordinator of the project "Innovative Nanosized Theranostic Agents" funded in 2012 by University of Torino/Compagnia San Paolo. He is member of the Management Committee of the EU-COST Action TD1004 (Theragnostics Imaging and Therapy. He is associate editor of the journal "Biomed Research International" and member of the Editorial Board of the journal "Current Molecular Imaging". He is co-author of more than 100 papers on international peer-reviewed journals, 5 patents and 5 book chapters.
