Asian CIF China charge chromeprices climbed 16%-20% February 23, recoveringfrom the lows in November 2017, mainly onthe back of strong short-term fundamentals,industrial sources said Tuesday. On February 23,the price of CIF China 48%-52% Cr ferrochromecharge chrome (10-100 lumps, maximum 9%carbon, maximum 6% silicon, maximum 0.04%phosphorus and maximum 0.05% sulfur) stoodat 101-104 cents/lb, up from a low of 84-90 cents/lb on November 19.
