Stanmore expects June coal sales to be zero on customer deferrals

Sydney—Australian metallurgical coal miner Stanmore Monday slashed its June sales forecast to zero from 250,000 mt earlier as term customers defer taking delivery of its entire contracted shipments for the month due to the impact of COVID-19. The company, which usually exports the majority of its output to Japan, South Korea, India and Europe, did not identify the customers deferring deliveries.
