Stanmore customers defer June deliveries in wake of COVID-19

Stanmore Coal has been told by term customers in the past week that they will be deferring June delivery shipments, as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, the company said on Monday (27 April). The Queensland semi-soft miner expects this to reduce its sales by 0.25 mt in its current fiscal year, ending 30 June. Stanmore expects to produce 2.35 mt of saleable coal in the year, it reported earlier this month.
