London—Atlantic met coal markets saw no change to recent lower US prices Monday, with costs of production and shipping limiting trade interest and offers. A further drop in futures and weaker Asia-Pacific pricing in recent spot trade dominated by Chinese buyers took spot price references below trading interest for many US suppliers. US miners suggested second-tier coking coal pricing, based on trade levels into China Monday for a low-vol HCC had fallen to unrepeatable levels.
