Each of two cutter discs 17, 18 on the forward or face side of the machine is freely rotatable on a bearing eccentric of a drive shaft, said discs being displaced relatively in the forward direction of the machine and the eccentricity of each bearing being offset 180 degrees relative to the other. The cutter discs may be on separate crank-shafts instead of the common crank-shaft as shown.
