Construction is expected to begin at Bolivia’s Mutun iron ore mine and steelworks project in the second week of May, Empresa Siderúrgica del Mutún (ESM) President Jesus Lara said Tuesday. According to Lara, the final design study for the construction of the plant has entered its final phase and is slated to be delivered by April 30, with the start of work on the steel project to begin in mid-May.
