Seaborne iron ore prices weakened Wednesday over doubts about stronger steel fundamentals. S&P Global Platts assessed the 62% Fe Iron Ore Index at $74.50/dry mt CFR North China Wednesday, down 45 cents/dmt from Tuesday. The front-month February TSI swap was down 35 cents/dmt from Tuesday at $72.75/dmt.
