摘要

London—Atlantic Basin iron ore blast furnace pellet contract prices rose in the second quarter, as higher iron ore fines reference pricing in China boosted invoices for FOB buyers in Europe, the Americas and northeast Asia. Higher 65% Fe fines and continued strong lump premium pricing pushing up overall steel making costs, according to an analysis by S&P Global Platts. Weaker demand for steel raw materials outside China dampened met coal prices, with markets outside China seeing lower steel output, and buyers relying on managing contract positions for met coal.
