London—Global iron ore prices have recently pulled up freight prices, driven by the dislocations at Brazilian miner Vale, and both are among the best performing markets in metals, Bank of America Merrill Lynch analysts said Monday. However, the scope for an extended rally in iron ore is now diminishing due to the collapse in steel mill margins and Chinese market developments, the analysts said in a report.
