Import prices for Turkish ferrous scrap were unchanged on Tuesday on sparse trading activity amid what appears like a wider-standoff between buyers and sellers. S&P Global Platts assessed Turkish imports of premium heavy melting scrap 1/2 (80:20) at $321.50/mt CFR Tuesday, unchanged on Monday. Differing price expectations between buyers and sellers meant trading activity — including offers and bids — were limited.
