Feng Hsin rolls over rebar/scrap prices amid slow sales

Taiwan?s largest rebar mill, Feng Hsin Steel, has decided to roll over rebar sales prices and scrap buying costs for the week of September 25-29 on slow domestic market sales, sources told S&P Global Platts Tuesday. Feng Hsin?s price for standard 13mm diameter rebar remained at TWD 16,900/mt ($560/mt) ex-works in Taichung in central Taiwan. The mini-mill continued to pay scrap collectors TWD 7,800/mt for locally sourced HMS I/II (80:20) scrap.
