CSN sees Q3 steel shipments fall 1% year on year

Brazilian integrated steelmaker CSN shipped 1.29 million mt of steel products in the thirdquarter of 2018, down 1% from 1.30 million mt in Q3 2017, according to results releasedThursday.Of that total, 912,000 mt was sold domestically, up 14% year on year, while 329,000 mtwas sold to the company's foreign subsidiaries and 48,000 mt direct exports.
