Europe coil market prices up slightly on short supply, higher mill offers

European steel coil mills remain fully booked until the end of the year, with higher offers only available for the first quarter of 2021 as steel producers try and conclude lucrative contracts with automotive endusers, sources told S&P Global Platts Oct 16. A German distribution source said mills were reportedly offering Eur550/mt ex-works Ruhr for next year, adding that German producers were concluding contracts now at Eur510/mt ex-works Ruhr.
