EagleClaw Lands Investment, Acquires Rival

Private equity-backed EagleClaw Midstream got a new injection of $500 million in cash and acquired a rival private pipeline player in the Delaware Basin as the company continues to consolidate and grow its business in the prolific producing region. Fellow investment fund I Squared Capital agreed to commit more than $500 million to EagleClaw, which is backed by Blackstone Energy Partners. I Squared will also roll its own Pinnacle Midstream into the parent company of EagleClaw, known as BCP Raptor Holdco.
