Enterprise Products Partners waxed exuberantly about its financial and operational achievements in the third quarter despite one of the worst hurricane to hit the region in more than 50 years, but analysts were more interested in soliciting additional justification for a recent reduction in Enterprise's quarterly distribution to unitholders. CEO Jim Teague said the company took only $35 million in Hurricane Harvey-related charges in spite of more than 50 inches of rain at Mont Belvieu, Texas, where the company has nine fractionators and its main NGLs pipeline and storage hub. Mont Belvieu is about 20 miles northeast of Houston.
