Mexico Postpones Pemex Farm-Out

Mexico’s government is pushing back the date of a farm-out for state producer Pemex’s offshore Ayin and Batsil fields, as few companies have so far expressed interest in the offer. On Thursday, commissioners from upstream regulator CNH, which is auctioning off a 50% operating stake in the two shallow-water fields, voted unanimously to postpone the auction date from Jun. 19 to Oct. 4.
