Venezuela Ports Active Again Despite Sanctions

Oil tankers continue loading at ports in Venezuela and carrying their cargoes to market despite broad sanctions against the regime of President Nicolas Maduro and domestic strife that at times seems to border on civil war. Satellite and shipping data show several very large crude carriers (VLCCs) are either loading at the Jose terminal in Venezuela or are en route to market with crude on board.
