LLOG Seeks Partner for US Gulf Subsea Project

Privately held deepwater player LLOG Exploration is looking to farm down part of its interest in a Gulf of Mexico discovery ahead of a planned development expected to come on line in 2022. LLOG owns a 100% working interest in a field dubbed Taggart and could sell up to a 50% interest in the discovery, according to marketing materials seen by Energy Intelligence. The field is located in Mississippi Canyon Block 816 in about 5,500 feet of water. It is just a few miles south of the Devil's Tower spar platform, which is operated by Italy's Eni and owned by midstream giant Williams.
